  1. Before entering on-board diagnostics, refer to PRETEST INSPECTION & DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE. Turn ignition off. Attach most current DRB cartridge. Beginning in 1991, DRB cartridge has ability to check itself and DRB. It provides a volt-ohmmeter and performs any test required by air bag system diagnostics.
  2. Connect DRB to ACM data link connector. ACM data link connector (also known as DRB connector) is located at lower right of steering column. Ensure all accessories are off. Turn ignition on. All character positions will glow and copyright information will appear on screen for a few seconds. Display will then change to DRB menu.
  3. If DRB displays error message, see DRB ERROR MESSAGES. Following modes are accessible from DRB menu: VEHICLES TESTED, HOW TO USE, CONFIGURE and SELECT SYSTEM.

When to See a Mechanic
