- Trouble codes may be read by using Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) on instrument panel or with DRB. See either MIL DIAGNOSTIC MODE or DIAGNOSIS USING DRB headings below. Using DRB will provide a more complete diagnosis.
- If trouble codes are not present and DRB is used, proceed to TEST TC-1A, CHECKING SYSTEM FOR TROUBLE CODESΒ under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC TESTS.
NOTE:
The PCM cannot diagnose every charging system problem. If a failure still exists after performing self-diagnostic procedures, go to ON-VEHICLE TESTINGΒ .

When to See a Mechanic
