Stall Speed Too High
In "D" and "R" ranges, general transaxle problems are indicated and a control pressure test should be made to locate faulty unit(s). In "D" range, stator overrunning clutch is defective, rear clutch is slipping, line pressure is low, or overrunning clutch in planetary gear is defective. In "R" range, front clutch or low-reverse brake is slipping, line pressure is low, or stator overrunning clutch is defective.

When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:
