Diagnostic Test

- CHECK ENGINE OIL TEMPERATURE (EOT) SENSOR
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect EOT sensor harness connector.
- Remove EOT sensor. Refer to EXPLODED VIEW .
- Check resistance between EOT sensor terminals by heating with hot water as shown in the figure below.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 2 .

- CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT
Check intermittent incident. Refer to INTERMITTENT INCIDENT .
