Diagnosis Procedure
- CHECK DTC WITH BCM
Check that DTC is not detected with BCM.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES: GO TO 2.
NO: Refer to "DTC INDEX ".
- CHECK "ANTI KEY LOCK IN FUNCTI" SETTING IN "WORK SUPPORT"
- Select "INTELLIGENT KEY" of "BCM" using CONSULT.
- Select "ANTI KEY LOCK IN FUNCTI" in "WORK SUPPORT" mode.
- Check "ANTI KEY LOCK IN FUNCTI" in "WORK SUPPORT".
Refer to "INTELLIGENT KEY: CONSULT FUNCTION (BCM - INTELLIGENT KEY) ".
Is the inspection result normal?
YES: GO TO 3.
NO: Set "ANTI KEY LOCK IN FUNCTI" in "WORK SUPPORT".
- CHECK DOOR SWITCH
Check door switch.
Refer to "COMPONENT FUNCTION CHECK ".
Is the inspection result normal?
YES: GO TO 4.
NO: Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
- CHECK INSIDE KEY ANTENNA
Check inside key antenna.
- CHECK UNLOCK SENSOR
Check unlock sensor.
Refer to "COMPONENT FUNCTION CHECK ".
Is the inspection result normal?
YES: GO TO 6.
NO: Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
- REPLACE BCM
- Replace BCM. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
- Confirm the operation after replacement.
Is the result normal?
YES: INSPECTION END
NO: Check intermittent incident. Refer to "INTERMITTENT INCIDENT ".

When to See a Mechanic
