Lower Control Arm Bushings (Mirage 1.5L): Installation

1990 Mitsubishi Precis Base, StandardSECTION Installation
  1. Apply soapy water on the control arm shaft and replacement bushing. Install bushing on control arm shaft, with locator pin located within 72-78 degrees of control arm's center.
  2. Using press and wood block, press bushing on control arm until specified clearance exists between bushing and control arm. See BUSHING CLEARANCE SPECIFICATIONS table. See Fig 1 .
