Continuity Inspection

2013 Mazda 3 Mazdaspeed, 2.3L Eng VIN 3SECTION Continuity Inspection

  1. Remove the battery cover. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.0, MZR 2.5] .)
  2. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.0, MZR 2.5] .)
  3. Disconnect the neutral switch connector. (See NEUTRAL SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .) (See NEUTRAL SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  4. When the shift lever is in neutral and in a position other than neutral, verify that the continuity between neutral switch terminals A and B is according to the following table:
