| B1483 | Brake Pedal Input Circuit Failure | The ABS module receives the brake pedal input from the smart junction box (SJB) along the high speed communication area network (HS-CAN) bus. If the information from the SJB does not agree with ABS module booster pedal force switch input and brake pressure input, DTC B1483 will set. CHECK for communication DTCs, see DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) CHART - COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK . If there are no communication DTCs, CHECK for DTCs in the (SJB), see DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) CHART - B, C AND U CODES . |
