DTC Description Action
B1342 ECU is defective
NOTE:
B1483 Brake Pedal Input Circuit Failure The ABS module receives the brake pedal input from the smart junction box (SJB) along the high speed communication area network (HS-CAN) bus. If the information from the SJB does not agree with ABS module booster pedal force switch input and brake pressure input, DTC B1483 will set. CHECK for communication DTCs, see DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) CHART - COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK . If there are no communication DTCs, CHECK for DTCs in the (SJB), see DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) CHART - B, C AND U CODES .
B1676 Battery Pack Voltage Out of Range See PINPOINT TEST 1: DTC B1676 - BATTERY PACK VOLTAGE OUT OF RANGE  .
B2477 Module Configuration Failure RECONFIGURE the ABS module. See MODULE CONFIGURATION and follow the scan tool directions for the configuration procedure.
B2741 Sensor Cluster is Defective VERIFY that the sensor cluster is correctly installed. If OK, see PINPOINT TEST 5: DTCs B2741, C1279, C1280, C1281, C1282, C1517, C2769, C2770, C2777, C2778 AND U1901 - SENSOR CLUSTER FAULT  .
B2900 VIN Mismatched (normally set when a new ABS module is installed) DIAGNOSE DTC U0001 before diagnosing DTC B2900. VERIFY that the module has the correct as-built data. CHECK for correct PCM configuration using the scan tool. CONFIGURE the component as necessary. See MODULE CONFIGURATION . CLEAR the DTC. REPEAT the self-test.
C1095 ABS Hydraulic Pump Motor Circuit Failure See PINPOINT TEST 2: DTC C1095 - ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM (ABS) HYDRAULIC PUMP MOTOR CIRCUIT FAILURE  .

C1233 Wheel Speed LF Input Signal Missing INSPECT the tire sizes. If all the tire sizes are not the same and/or do not meet vehicle manufacturer specifications, INSTALL new as necessary. If all the tire sizes are the same and/or do meet vehicle manufacturer specifications, see PINPOINT TEST 4: DTCs C1233 (LF), C1234 (RF), C1235 (RR) OR C1276 (LR) - WHEEL SPEED SENSOR INPUT SIGNAL MISSING  .
C1234 Wheel Speed RF Input Signal Missing INSPECT the tire sizes. If all the tire sizes are not the same and/or do not meet vehicle manufacturer specifications, INSTALL new as necessary. C1277 Steering Wheel Angle 1 and 2 Circuit Failure
NOTE:
  • The electronic power assist steering (EPAS) module contains the steering wheel angle sensor. The sensor is not serviceable separately from the module.

    The ABS module receives the steering wheel angle sensor information over the HS-CAN bus. CLEAR the DTCs. TEST DRIVE the vehicle. RETRIEVE the ABS module DTCs. If DTC C1277 returns, see STEERING SYSTEM DTC CHART to diagnose the steering wheel angle sensor.

C1278 Steering Wheel Angle 1 and 2 Signal Faulted
NOTE:
  • The electronic power assist steering (EPAS) module contains the steering wheel angle sensor. The sensor is not serviceable separately from the module.

    The ABS module receives the steering wheel angle sensor information over the HS-CAN bus. CLEAR the DTCs. TEST DRIVE the vehicle. RETRIEVE the ABS module DTCs. If DTC C1277 returns, see STEERING SYSTEM DTC CHART to diagnose the steering wheel angle sensor.

C1279 Yaw Rate Sensor Signal Fault VERIFY that the sensor cluster is correctly installed. If OK, see PINPOINT TEST 5: DTCs B2741, C1279, C1280, C1281, C1282, C1517, C2769, C2770, C2777, C2778 AND U1901 - SENSOR CLUSTER FAULT  .
C1280 Yaw Rate Sensor Signal Fault VERIFY that the sensor cluster is correctly installed. If OK, see PINPOINT TEST 5: DTCs B2741, C1279, C1280, C1281, C1282, C1517, C2769, C2770, C2777, C2778 AND U1901 - SENSOR CLUSTER FAULT  .
C1281 Lateral Accelerometer Circuit Failure VERIFY that the sensor cluster is correctly installed. If OK, see PINPOINT TEST 5: DTCs B2741, C1279, C1280, C1281, C1282, C1517, C2769, C2770, C2777, C2778 AND U1901 - SENSOR CLUSTER FAULT  .
C1282 Lateral Accelerometer Circuit Failure VERIFY that the sensor cluster is correctly installed. If OK, see PINPOINT TEST 5: DTCs B2741, C1279, C1280, C1281, C1282, C1517, C2769, C2770, C2777, C2778 AND U1901 - SENSOR CLUSTER FAULT  .
C1288 Brake Pressure Transducer Input Circuit Failure
NOTE:
  • If other DTCs are present, REPAIR them before installing a new component.

    CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. If DTC C1288 is present, make sure all hydraulic control unit (HCU) and ABS module fasteners are tightened to their correct torque specification. If all fasteners are tightened to their correct torque specification, INSTALL a new ABS module. See ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM (ABS) MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .

C1440 Pressure Transducer Main/Primary Signal Failure
NOTE:
C1470 TCS Function Temporarily Disabled (Thermal Brake Protection)
NOTE:
  • If other DTCs are present, REPAIR them before installing a new component.

    CLEAR the DTC. VERIFY ABS operation.

C1516 Roll Rate Signal Fault VERIFY that the sensor cluster is correctly installed. If OK, see PINPOINT TEST 5: DTCs B2741, C1279, C1280, C1281, C1282, C1517, C2769, C2770, C2777, C2778 AND U1901 - SENSOR CLUSTER FAULT  .
C1517 Roll Rate Sensor Circuit Fault VERIFY that the sensor cluster is correctly installed. If OK, see PINPOINT TEST 5: DTCs B2741, C1279, C1280, C1281, C1282, C1517, C2769, C2770, C2777, C2778 AND U1901 - SENSOR CLUSTER FAULT  .
C1805 Mismatched PCM and/or ABS Module DIAGNOSE DTC U001 before diagnosing DTC C1805. CHECK for correct PCM and ABS module configurations using the scan tool. CONFIGURE the component as necessary. FOLLOW the scan tool directions for the ABS module configuration or See MODULE CONFIGURATION . CLEAR the DTC. REPEAT the self-test.
C1963 Stability Control Inhibit Warning This DTC is for information only. CLEAR the DTC. REPEAT the self-test.
C1991 Module Calibration Failure CLEAR the DTC. REPEAT the self-test. If DTC C1991 is present, INSTALL a new ABS module. See ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM (ABS) MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .
C1996 Active Yaw Control Disabled This DTC is set if the stability assist system is activated for 15 seconds of continuous operation. CHECK for any major chassis modifications, gross suspension misalignment or other items that can alter the vehicle tracking dynamics. CLEAR the DTC. REPEAT the self-test.
C2769 Longitudinal Acceleration Sensor Circuit Failure VERIFY that the sensor cluster is correctly installed. If OK, see PINPOINT TEST 5: DTCs B2741, C1279, C1280, C1281, C1282, C1517, C2769, C2770, C2777, C2778 AND U1901 - SENSOR CLUSTER FAULT  .
C2770 Longitudinal Acceleration Sensor Signal Fault VERIFY that the sensor cluster is correctly installed. If OK, see PINPOINT TEST 5: DTCs B2741, C1279, C1280, C1281, C1282, C1517, C2769, C2770, C2777, C2778 AND U1901 - SENSOR CLUSTER FAULT 
C2777 Sensor Cluster Bus Failure VERIFY that the sensor cluster is correctly installed. If OK, see PINPOINT TEST 5: DTCs B2741, C1279, C1280, C1281, C1282, C1517, C2769, C2770, C2777, C2778 AND U1901 - SENSOR CLUSTER FAULT 
C2778 Sensor Cluster Power Supply Failure VERIFY that the sensor cluster is correctly installed. If OK, see PINPOINT TEST 5: DTCs B2741, C1279, C1280, C1281, C1282, C1517, C2769, C2770, C2777, C2778 AND U1901 - SENSOR CLUSTER FAULT 
U0001 High Speed CAN Communication Bus See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) CHART - COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK to diagnose the HS-CAN bus.
U0100 Lost Communication with ECM/PCM REPAIR all other DTCs first. If DTC U0100 is still present, see DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) CHART - COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK to diagnose the HS-CAN bus.
U0114 Lost Communication with Four-Wheel Drive Clutch Control Module REPAIR all other DTCs first. If DTC U0114 is still present, see DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) CHART - COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK to diagnose the HS-CAN bus.
U0140 Lost Communication with Body Control Module REPAIR all other DTCs first. If DTC U0140 is still present, see DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) CHART - COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK to diagnose the HS-CAN bus.
U0155 Lost Communication with Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) Control Module REPAIR all other DTCs first. If DTC U0155 is still present, see PINPOINT TEST 4: THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER DOES NOT RESPOND TO THE SCAN TOOL to diagnose the HS-CAN bus.
U0401 Invalid Data Received From ECM/PCM If other DTCs are present along with U0401, REPAIR those DTCs first. If U0401 is the only DTC present, CARRY OUT the PCM self-test, RETRIEVE and RECORD any DTCs. See PCM QUICK TEST to diagnose the PCM.
U0402 Invalid Data Received From Transmission Control Module If other DTCs are present along with U0402, REPAIR those DTCs first. If U0402 is the only DTC present, CARRY OUT the PCM self-test, RETRIEVE and RECORD any DTCs. See PCM QUICK TEST to diagnose the TCM.
U0414 Invalid Data Received From Four-Wheel Drive Clutch Control Module If other DTCs are present along with U0414, REPAIR those DTCs first. If U0414 is the only DTC present, CARRY OUT the PCM self-test, RETRIEVE and RECORD any DTCs. See PCM QUICK TEST to diagnose the TCM.
U1901 CAN Network #2 Communication Bus Fault-Receive Error VERIFY that the sensor cluster is correctly installed. If OK, See PINPOINT TEST 5: DTCs B2741, C1279, C1280, C1281, C1282, C1517, C2769, C2770, C2777, C2778 AND U1901 - SENSOR CLUSTER FAULT  .
U2050 No Application Present CONFIGURE the ABS module. See MODULE CONFIGURATION . CLEAR the DTCs. RETRIEVE the DTCs and VERIFY successful module configuration. If DTC U2050 is retrieved again, INSTALL a new ABS module. See ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM (ABS) MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION . CLEAR the DTC. REPEAT the self-test.
