Selector Lever Removal/Installation: Notes

WARNING:

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove in the order indicated in the figure.

  3. Install in the reverse order of removal.
  4. Inspect the shift-lock. (See SHIFT-LOCK INSPECTIONΒ .)
  5. Inspect the shift-lock release lever. (See SHIFT-LOCK RELEASE LEVER INSPECTIONΒ .)
  6. Inspect the key interlock system. (See KEY INTERLOCK INSPECTIONΒ .)
