- Check ECTS performance
- IG KEY "OFF".
- Disconnect ECTS connector.
- Measure resistance between Pin No. 3 (Signal) terminal and Pin No. 1 (Ground) terminal of the ECTS. (Component Side)
Specification: Approx. 1.8 kΩ at 81.9°F (27°C)
- Check IATS performance
- IG Key "OFF".
- Disconnect IATS connector.
- Measure resistance between Pin No. 3 (Signal) terminal and Pin No. 4 (Ground) terminal of the IATS. (Component Side)
Specification: Approx. 1.5 kΩ at 83.3°F (28.5°C)
- Does the IATS, ECTS operate properly? (Check variation)
YES
- Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
- If problem still occurs, replace ECTS, IATS and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
