Control Circuit Inspection
2015 Kia K900 V6SECTION Control Circuit Inspection
■ Open Check
- IG "OFF".
- Disconnect Stop Signal Electronic Module and HECU connector.
- Measure resistance between Pin No. 2 (HAC/DBC signal) terminal of Stop Signal Electronic Module harness connector and Pin No. 8 (Standard type), 39 (Premium type) stop relay control terminal of HECU harness connector.
Specification: Approx. below 1Ω
- Is the measured value within specifications?
YES
- Go to "Short Check" procedure below.
NO
- Repair open in stop lamp relay control circuit between the Stop Signal Electronic Module and HECU and then, Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
■ Short Check
- IG "OFF".
- Disconnect Stop Signal Electronic Module and HECU connector.
- Measure resistance between Pin No. 2 (HAC/DBC signal) terminal of Stop Signal Electronic Module harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: Infinite (∞ Ω)
- Is the measured value within specifications?
YES
- Go to "Short Check" procedure below.
NO
- Repair short in stop lamp relay control circuit between the Stop Signal Electronic Module and HECU and then, Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
