General Information: General Description
The Fuel Level Sensor (FLS) measures the fuel level in the fuel tank, and its information is supplied to the ECM for monitoring the condition of the EVAP canister purge system, which provides leak detection. If the fuel level sensor is monitored as high, low, stuck, or if the voltage deviation of fuel level sensor exceeds the threshold value while driving, the ECM determines that a fault exists.

When to See a Mechanic
