Replace with this Bulletin.

ISSUE:
Replacement warranty parts for the 2002 MY-ON X-TYPE vehicles equipped with the navigation system will be supplied through a new exchange program. This program will ensure that the replacement component has the latest software specification. The components referred to will be provided through this exchange program.
These exchange units are the only allowable replacement units for vehicles within new car warranty periods. Only new vehicles in stock or those with less than 3 months/3,000 miles of use, are to have new units installed. Claims submitted with new units for vehicles outside of this period will be debited.
ACTION:
To order one of the components listed, the dealer must contact a Jaguar Dealer Order Coordinator (DOC) 1-888-JAG-DLRS (option 1) and supply the DOC with the DLR no., part no., Model, VIN, and claim no. Any orders received prior to 3:00 pm Eastern time will be processed that day and shipped overnight to the dealer. These components will be supplied free of charge to the dealer and a set handling fee of $50.00 will be allowed on the claim billed as sublet.

Claims can be submitted using the information as shown.
Included with the component will be a Navigation Problem Report form (shown) along with a return shipping label. The Navigation Problem Report form must be completed and a copy must be returned with the component as well as a copy in the vehicle file.
^ Failure to return a completed copy of the Problem Report form with the component will result in the debit of the claim.
^ Failure to return the component using the return shipping label will also result in the debit of the claim and an additional core charge for the component. These components are to be returned to the supplier directly and not to Jaguar Cars.

Claims for these exchange units will be for labor and the $50.00 handling fee. Use one of the applicable R.O. Numbers for the unit replaced and claim the handling as a sublet.
