Power Steering Pump: Removal
1985 Isuzu Trooper II 1.9 A, MSG5LSECTION Removal
- Disconnect hoses at pump. Secure ends of hoses in raised position to prevent drainage of oil. Cap or tape ends of hoses to prevent entrance of dirt. Install caps on pump fittings to prevent dirt from entering pump.
- On gasoline models, remove stone shield. Loosen bracket-to-pump mounting bolts and remove pump belts. Remove attaching parts from pump and remove pump from vehicle.
