Diagnosis Procedure
- CHECK BATTERY CURRENT SENSOR POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT-I
- Disconnect battery current sensor harness connector.
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Check the voltage between battery current sensor harness connector and ground.

- CHECK BATTERY CURRENT SENSOR POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT-II
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Disconnect ECM harness connector.
- Check the continuity between battery current sensor harness connector and ECM harness connector.

- CHECK COMPONENTS
Check the following.
- Camshaft position sensor (bank 2) (Refer to Component Inspection (Camshaft Position Sensor) .)
- Fuel rail pressure sensor (Refer to Component Inspection (Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor) .)
- Engine oil pressure sensor (Refer to Component Inspection (EOP sensor) .)
- Power steering pressure sensor (Refer to Component Inspection (Power Steering Pressure Sensor) .)
- Exhaust valve timing control position sensor (bank 2) (Refer to Component Inspection (Exhaust Valve Timing Control Position Sensor) .)
- Throttle position sensor (bank 2) (Refer to Component Inspection (Throttle position sensor) .)
- Manifold absolute pressure sensor (Refer to Component Inspection (MAP Sensor) .)
- Refrigerant pressure sensor (Refer to Diagnosis Procedure .)
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO 5.
NO
Replace malfunctioning component.
- CHECK APP SENSOR
Refer to Component Inspection (Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor) .
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO 10.
NO
GO TO 6.
- REPLACE ACCELERATOR PEDAL ASSEMBLY
Replace accelerator pedal assembly.
- Models without Distance Control Assist system: Removal and Installation
- Models with Distance Control Assist system: Removal and Installation
INSPECTION END
- CHECK BATTERY CURRENT SENSOR GROUND CIRCUIT FOR OPEN AND SHORT
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect ECM harness connector.
- Check the continuity between battery current sensor harness connector and ECM harness connector.
