  • Signal Plausibility Monitoring
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. Engine vibration (bearing wear, etc.)
  3. Faulty knock sensor circuit
  4. Faulty knock sensor
Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage is between 9V and 16V
  • Engine running state
Threshold Value
  • When abnormal knock signals and noise levels are detected
    1. Over 4.3V detected when in the initial condition of deceleration
    2. Over 3.5V detected when entering idle during deceleration
    3. Over 4.3V detected when entering idle speed and fuel cut
    4. Over 4.8V detected when idle
    5. Over 4.8V detected during partial load operation Warning light turns on when 2 or more of the above 5 conditions apply
