The Engine Control Module (ECM) controls the power generation by manipulating the FR terminal. While driving, if torque increases, output duty will increase as well and, if torque decreases, it will drop as well. The ECM promptly deals with current loss by managing power generation with an alternator equipped with a communication regulator.
