  2. IMEB connector: Disconnected
Ground (-) terminal of IMEB harness connector Chassis ground
  1. Is the result within specifications?

    YES 

    • Replace it with a new IMEB and check for proper operation. If problem is corrected, place the new IMEB and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

    NO 

    • Check for open or blown fuse referring to "Circuit Diagram".
    • Repair open or short in power circuit between battery and IMEB harness connector and then, go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
    • Repair open or short in ground circuit between battery and IMEB harness connector and then, go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NOTE: * In a case of replacing IMEB, perform following functions.
  • "Steering Angle Sensor Calibration" for steering angle sensor offset correction (refer to C126104 ) -ESP (ESC) only
  • "Longitudinal Sensor Calibration" for Longitudinal sensor offset correction (refer to C128504 ) - ESP (ESC) only
  • "Variant Coding" for option coding (refer to C170204 ).
