- Turn "OFF" the ignition switch.
- Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
- Turn "ON" the ignition switch.
- Using GDS, Perform "Actuation Test".
- Verify that the EPB's lock and unlock functions are working properly.
- Does the EPB function normally?

- Fault can be intermittent, caused by poor connection. Or, Controller memory was not cleared after it was repaired. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIRΒ " procedure.
NOΒ
- If no problems were found with the circuits or connectors, replace the EPB Actuator and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIRΒ " procedure.
