DTC DETECTING CONDITIONS AND POSSIBLE CAUSES

  • Monitoring CAN messages
  1. Faulty Gear position system (Inhibitor switch)
  2. Faulty TCM system
Enable Conditions
  • Engine run (engine run at least for 2 seconds)
  • Battery voltage is between 9 volt and 16 volt
  • No CAN Bus off
Threshold Value
  • When it received abnormal gear position message (Invalid) from TCM via CAN.
Diagnosis Time
  • 500 milliseconds
Fail Safe
  • SCC/AEB Disengagement/Shutdown
  • SCC/AEB Warning lamp turns 'ON'
