  • Check short to ground in harness 
    1. Ignition "OFF" and disconnect injector connector and ECM connector.
    2. Measure resistance between injector control terminal of injector harness connector and chassis ground.

      Specification:  Infinite

    3. Is the measured resistance within specification?

      YES 

      • Go to "Check open in harness  " procedure.

      NO 

  • Check open in harness 
    1. Ignition "OFF" and disconnect injector connector and ECM connector.
    2. Measure resistance between injector control terminal of injector harness connector and injector control terminal of ECM harness connector.

      Specification:  Below 1Ω

    3. Is the measured resistance within specification?

      YES 

      NO
