DTC DETECTING CONDITION

Case 1 DTC Strategy
  • Opened stop position out of range
  • Carbon or foreign objects
  • Poor connection or damaged harness
  • Faulty VCMA
Enable Conditions
  • IG KEY ON
  • Open position stop reached for more than 0.3sec.
  • No relevant DTCs
  • 11V < Battery voltage < 16V
Threshold Value
  • Signal : < 0.70V or > 1.73V
Case 2 DTC Strategy
  • Closed stop position out of range
Enable Conditions
  • IG KEY ON
  • Close position stop reached for more than 0.3sec.
  • No relevant DTCs
  • 11V < Battery voltage < 16V
Threshold Value
  • Signal : < 3.90V or > 4.83V
Case 3 DTC Strategy
  • Stuck in range
Enable Conditions
  • IG KEY ON
  • Port set-point change (Closed -> Opened or Opened -> Closed) for more than 1sec.
  • Valid learnt Opened/Closed stop position
  • No relevant DTCs
  • 11V < Battery voltage < 16V
Threshold Value
  • Signal > Opened stop position + 0.28V
  • Signal < Closed stop position - 0.28V
Case 4 DTC Strategy
  • Opened stop position exceeded
Enable Conditions
  • IG KEY ON
  • Port set-point change (Closed -> Opened or Opened -> Closed) for more than 1sec.
  • Valid learnt Opened/Closed stop position
  • No relevant DTCs
  • 11V < Battery voltage < 16V
Threshold Value
  • Signal < Opened stop position - 0.29V
Case 1, 2 Diagnostic Time
  • Immediate
Case 3, 4 Diagnostic Time
  • 0.3 sec.
Mil On Condition
  • 2 driving cycle
