Control Circuit Inspection

2011 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS, 3.5 G, AWDSECTION Control Circuit Inspection

  • Check for Short to Ground in Closing Control Circuit 
    1. IG KEY OFF.
    2. Disconnect PCM and VCMA harness connector.
    3. Measure resistance between closing control terminal of VCMA harness connector and chassis ground.

      Specification :  Infinite

    4. Is resistance within specification?

      YES 

      • Go to next procedure.

      NO 

  • Check for Open in Opening Control Circuit 
    1. IG KEY OFF.
    2. Disconnect VCMA harness connector and PCM harness connector.
    3. Measure resistance between both ends of opening control line.

      Specification :  Approx. 0 Ω

    4. Is resistance within specification?

      YES 

      • Go to next procedure.

      NO
