  • Speed rationality check
  • Signal circuit is open or short
  • Sensor power circuit is open
  • Sensor ground circuit is open
  • Faulty OUTPUT SPEED SENSOR
  • Faulty PCM
Enable Conditions
  • A/T range switch D range
  • Vehicle speed 31 Mile/h (50 Km/h)
  • Engine speed > 2000rpm
  • Voltage of Battery > 10V
Threshold Value
  • Vehicle speed equivalent to > 1.5 X vehicle speed output speed
  • Vehicle speed equivalent to > 1.5 X vehicle speed output speed
Diagnostic Time
  • More than 4 sec
Fail Safe
  • Locked into 3rd or 2nd gear.
  • Apply an electric current to Solenoid valve
  • Manual shifting is possible
