Component Inspection
- Check Heater resistance
- Ignition "OFF"
- Disconnect HO2S connector
- Measure resistance between terminals 3 and 4 of the sensor connector (To HO2 sensor side).
Specification : 7 ~ 40Ω [at 20°C (68°F)]
- Is the measured HO2S heater resistance within specifications?
YES
- Substitute with a known-good PCM and check for proper operation.
If the problem is corrected, replace PCM and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Substitute with a known-good HO2S and check for proper operation.
If the problem is corrected, replace HO2S and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
- Substitute with a known-good PCM and check for proper operation.

When to See a Mechanic
