DTC 81: TPMS Control Unit Failure

2009 Honda S2000 BaseSECTION DTC 81: TPMS Control Unit Failure
NOTE: Low battery voltage can cause this DTC. Make sure the battery is fully charged and in good condition (see BATTERY TEST ).
  1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
  2. Clear the DTC with the HDS.
  3. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), then turn the ignition switch to ON (II) again.
  4. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

    Is DTC 81 indicated? 

    YES  - REPLACE THE TPMS CONTROL UNIT  .

    NO  - The system is OK at this time.
