Repair Procedures: Removal

2021 Genesis GV80 2.5T Advanced, AWDSECTION Removal

  1. Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) cable.
  2. Release the residual pressure in fuel line.

    (Refer to Fuel Delivery System - "RELEASE RESIDUAL PRESSURE IN FUEL LINE ")

    NOTE:
    • When removing the fuel pump relay, a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) may occur. Delete the code with the diagnostic tool after completion of "Release Residual Pressure in Fuel Line" work.
  3. Remove the RH air cleaner.

    (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ")

  4. Remove the RH injector form.
  5. Disconnect the rail pressure sensor connector (A).
  6. Remove the rail pressure sensor (B) from the delivery pipe.

    Tightening torque: 

    30.4 ~ 35.3 N.m (3.1 ~ 3.6 kgf.m, 22.4 ~ 26.0 lb-ft)
