DTC Fault Trigger Conditions
DTC Description Fault Trigger Condition IPMA C1001:49 Vision System Camera: Internal Electronic Failure This continuous memory and on-demand DTC sets in the IPMA when an internal fault is detected in the IPMA camera. Possible Sources
- IPMA camera
- AW1 CHECK FOR DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS) FROM THE IPMA (IMAGE PROCESSING MODULE A) SELF-TEST
- Ignition ON.
- Using the diagnostic scan tool, clear the Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).
- Wait 10 seconds.
- Using the diagnostic scan tool, carry out the IPMA self-test.
Is DTC C1001:49 retrieved?
Yes INSTALL a new IPMA camera. REFER to: Image Processing Module A (IPMA) Camera . No The system is operating correctly at this time.
