DTC Fault Trigger Conditions
DTC Description Fault Trigger Condition IPMA U0300:57 Internal Control Module Software Incompatibility: Invalid/Incompatible Software Component The continuous memory DTC that sets in the IPMA when invalid or incompatible software is detected. Possible Sources
- IPMA
- AP1 CHECK FOR DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS) FROM THE IPMA (IMAGE PROCESSING MODULE A) SELF-TEST
- Ignition ON.
- Using the diagnositc scan tool, clear the Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).
- Wait 10 seconds.
- Using the diagnostic scan tool, perform the IPMA self-test.
Is DTC U0300:57 retrieved?
Yes INSTALL a new IPMA, REFER to: Image Processing Module A (IPMA) . No The system is operating correctly at this time.
