- Check the selector lever cable grommet for damage and for being properly seated in the floor pan. INSTALL new parts as necessary. REFER to: Selector Lever Cable - 6-Speed Automatic Transmission - 6R100 . REFER to: Selector Lever Cable - 6-Speed Automatic Transmission - 6R140 .
- If the selector lever cable grommet is properly seated in the floor pan and free of damage, refer to the appropriate water leak condition. REFER to: Body System .
