The ECO mode is a selectable option that determines the operator request for reduced power consumption.
When the ECO mode is activated, the following occurs:
- The ECO indicator on the instrument cluster illuminates
- Engine speed and torque level changes are revised to save energy
- Accelerator pedal response is reduced
- Regenerative braking response increases
- Cruise control system lowers acceleration rate
- Climate control system operates at reduced levels
The ECO mode does not change with ignition key cycles.
