2007 Ford Focus SES, 4D Sedan, StandardSECTION Removal and Installation

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
  2. Drain the engine coolant. For additional information, refer to DRAINING .
  3. If removing a single hose from the heater core, remove the heater hose retainer.
  4. NOTE: To access the lower heater hose connections, remove the lower splash shield.
  5. Release the clamps and remove the necessary heater hoses.
  6. NOTE: Lubricate the coolant hoses with water if needed.
  7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
