P1156 - FUEL SELECT SWITCH CIRCUIT

Description:  This DTC is set when the operating mode reported by the fuel injector control module (FICM) does not agree with the operating mode requested by the powertrain control module (PCM).
Possible Causes: 
  • Open or shorted fuel select switch (FSSW) circuit
  • Damaged FICM
Diagnostic Aids:   
Application  Key On Engine Off  Key On Engine Running  Continuous Memory
