2003 Ford Windstar BaseSECTION Removal & Installation (Right Front Seat)
- Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONSΒ . Disable air bag system. See DISABLING SYSTEMΒ under DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM. On models not equipped with side air bags, detach side air bag bridge resistor. On models equipped with power seats, disconnect power seat electrical connector. From inside vehicle, remove right front seat anchor nuts and bolts. Remove left front seat.
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten right front seat anchor nuts and bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONSΒ . Connect negative battery cable. With air bag simulators install at all remaining deployable devices, perform system operation check. See SYSTEM OPERATION CHECKΒ . Activate air bag system. See ACTIVATING SYSTEMΒ under DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM.
