1991 Ford Probe GL, StandardSECTION Pinpoint Test B4: Circuit Short/VAPS Check

Leave VAPS control module disconnected. Disconnect battery. Set VOM on 200-k/ohm scale. Measure resistance between Yellow/Blue wire in VAPS control module connector and chassis ground. Measure resistance between Yellow/Blue wire and Black/Green wire. If resistance is greater than 10 k/ohms, proceed to PINPOINT TEST Q1  -PINPOINT TEST Q7  . If resistance is NOT as specified, repair Yellow/Blue wire between coil and control module for short to ground.
