Leave VAPS control module connector disconnected. Turn ignition off. Set VOM on 200-k/ohm scale. Measure resistance between Yellow/Black wire and ground. If resistance is greater than 10 k/ohms, replace VAPS control module. If resistance is NOT as specified, repair Yellow/Black wire between module and ground for shorts.
