CROSSMEMBER, Transmission: Installation
2024 Dodge and Ram Durango SRT Hellcat PlusSECTION Installation
- Install the transmission crossmember (1) and install the crossmember bolts (2).
- Tighten the transmission crossmember to frame bolts (2) to the proper torque specifications. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Remove the lifting device.
- Install the rear transmission crossmember to transmission mount bolts (3) and tighten to the proper torque specifications. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Position the transmission crossmember reinforcement brackets.
- Install the transmission crossmember reinforcement bracket bolts and tighten to the proper torque specifications. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the transmission skid plate. Refer to PLATE, SKID, TRANSFER CASE, INSTALLATION .
