Module, Global Telematics Box: Removal
2024 Dodge and Ram 1500 TRXSECTION Removal

- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable(s).
- Remove the Security Gateway Module (SGW). Refer to MODULE, SECURITY GATEWAY (SGW), REMOVALΒ .NOTE:
The Global Telematics Box Module (TBM2) is mounted to the IP on a bracket behind the radio.
- Disengage the wire harness retainer (1).
- Remove the TBM2 bracket screws (2) securing the TBM2 (3).
- Slide the TBM2 (3) left to release it from the instrument panel and disconnect the wire harness connectors.
- Rotate the TBM2 (1) clockwise so the TBM2 brackets are in the downward position.
- Roll the top of the TBM2 (1) forward and slide the right side facing bracket out from under the instrument panel bracket.
- Slide the TBM2 (1) away from the instrument panel.
- Lift up on the TBM2 (1) until the opposite bracket gets stopped by the instrument panel.
- Gently press down on the instrument panel (2) to release the TBM2 (1) and remove from the vehicle.
