Heater, Engine Block: Installation

  1. Thoroughly clean the cylinder block heater cavity and seat.
  2. Install the engine block heater (1) and tighten the engine block heater bolt (2) to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  3. Attach the power cord plug to the engine block heater.
  4. Fill the cooling system to the proper level. Refer to COOLANT SYSTEM AIR EVACUATION  .
  5. Install the generator. Refer to GENERATOR, INSTALLATION .
