CAUTION: Torque the knock sensor to correct specification. Over or under tightening effects knock sensor performance, possibly causing improper spark control and damage to the sensor.

1. Install knock sensor (2) and bolt (3) to engine and tighten to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).
2. Connect electrical connector (1) to knock sensor (2).
3. Install knock sensor cover (4).
4. Connect the negative battery cable and tighten nut to 5 Nm (45 in. lbs.).
