NOTE: If the CKP sensor (3) is difficult to remove twist side to side during removal.

1. Disconnect and isolate negative battery cable at battery.
2. Disconnect electrical connector (1) from crankshaft position (CKP) sensor (3).
3. Remove bolt (2) and remove CKP sensor (3) from transmission housing.
