Modulator Assembly: Removal

1993 Chrysler LeBaron LandauSECTION Removal
  1. Center vehicle on hoist, or raise front of vehicle on jackstands. Disconnect and remove battery, battery tray and acid shield covering modulator assembly. Disconnect differential pressure switch (Delta "P" switch) connector from junction block. See Fig 1 . Remove top modulator assembly bracket-to-fender shield mounting bolt.
  2. Disconnect 2 master cylinder supply tubes at modulator assembly. Loosen 2 tubes at master cylinder and set aside. Ensure tubes are not kinked. Raise vehicle on hoist. From under vehicle, disconnect modulator assembly 10-pin connector. Remove 4 remaining hydraulic tubes from modulator assembly.
  3. Remove modulator assembly bracket mounting bolt closest to junction block. Loosen, but DO NOTΒ  remove, bracket mounting bolt nearest radiator. Lower vehicle. Lift modulator assembly and bracket out of vehicle.
