Removal Procedure
- Open the hood.
Windshield Wiper Arm (2) - Remove - Windshield Wiper Arm Replacement
Air Inlet Grille Panel (2) - Remove - Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement (Chevrolet) , or Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement (Buick)
Windshield Outside Moisture Sensor (1) - Remove - Windshield Outside Moisture Sensor Replacement
{ If equipped } Front View Camera (1) - Remove - Front View Camera Replacement
Inside Rearview Mirror (2) - Remove - Inside Rearview Mirror Replacement
Windshield Garnish Molding (1) - Remove - Windshield Garnish Molding Replacement (Buick) , or Windshield Garnish Molding Replacement (Chevrolet)
- Cover to protect the following parts from broken glass:
- Upper dash pad
- Defroster outlets and A/C outlets
- Seats and carpeting
If broken glass falls into the defroster outlets, it can be blown into the passenger compartment and cause personal injury.

When to See a Mechanic
