Installation Procedure
Lower Radiator Frame (6) - Install
- Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor(5) - Install
- Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Retainer(4) - Install
- Radiator Outlet Hose Connector(3) - Install - Radiator Outlet Hose Connector Replacement - Radiator Side (LUV, LE2)
- Air Conditioning Condenser Seal(2)[2x] - Install
- Radiator Upper Insulator(1)[2x] - Install
- CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .
Radiator(3) - Install
- Engine Coolant Fan Shroud(2) - Install
- Radiator Bolt(1)[2x] - Install and tighten6 N.m (53 lb in)
Radiator Assembly(1) - Install
Radiator Upper Bracket(2) - Install - Radiator Upper Bracket Replacement (2H0) Radiator Upper Bracket Replacement (LUV) Radiator Upper Bracket Replacement (LE2) [2x]
- Connect the engine coolant fan connector.
- Connect the engine coolant temperature sensor electrical connector.

Transmission Fluid Auxiliary Cooler (3) - Install - Transmission Fluid Auxiliary Cooler Replacement (2H0)Transmission Fluid Auxiliary Cooler Replacement (LE2, LUV)
Charge Air Cooler (2) - Install - Charge Air Cooler Replacement

- Fill and inspect the transmission fluid level. Transmission Fluid Level and Condition Check
- Recharge the refrigerant. Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (R-134a)
- Fill the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling
- Start the engine and check for coolant leaks.
- Inspect for refrigerant leaks.
- Inspect for transmission fluid leaks.

When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:
