Installation Procedure
2006 Chevrolet SSR AutomaticSECTION Installation Procedure
- With the aid of an assistant, install the folding top panel onto the vehicle.
- Install the folding top panel fasteners. Hand tighten the fasteners.
- Align the fasteners to the alignment marks on the side rails.
Tighten:Β Tighten the fasteners to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
- Install the folding top rear upper latch linkage.
- Cycle the folding top to latch the front panel to the windshield header.
- Verify that the folding top panel is properly aligned.
- Adjust the folding top panel if necessary. Refer to Folding Top Panel Adjustment - FrontΒ .
- Cycle the folding top open to release the front panel from the windshield header.
- Install the headliner. Refer to Retractable Roof Headliner Front Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
- Remove the protective covering.
- Inspect the folding top for proper operation. Refer to Power Folding Top Description and OperationΒ .
