- Align the folding top lift assist strut to the ball studs on the side rail assembly.
- Push on the lower end of the lift assist strut on the lower ball stud on the side rail assembly. Install the retaining clip.
- Push on the upper end of the lift assist strut on the upper ball stud on the side rail assembly. Install the retaining clip.
- Remove the protective covers from the quarter panels.
- Inspect the folding top for proper operation. Refer to Power Folding Top Description and Operation .
