2006 Chevrolet Cobalt SS, 4D Sedan, StandardSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the console top cover. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement .
  2. Remove the shift cables from the shifter assembly. Refer to Shift Control Cable ReplacementΒ .

  4. Remove the 2 front mounting nuts (2).
  5. Remove the 2 rear mounting nuts (3) and the shifter.
