Installation Procedure

2006 Chevrolet Cobalt SS, 4D Sedan, StandardSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the mode cam.
  2. Rotate the cam to verify proper operation.

  4. Install the mode actuator.
  5. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  6. Install the mode actuator screws.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the screws to 1 N.m (9 lb in).

  8. Connect the electrical connector to the mode actuator.

  10. Install the right side heater duct.
  11. Install the right side heater duct retainer.
  12. Install the storage compartment. Refer to Compartment Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
