- Remove the HVAC control assembly. Refer to HVAC Control Assembly Replacement .
- Remove the temperature and mode knobs by carefully lifting the edge of the knob with small flat blade screwdriver.
- Remove the A/C, rear defog and recirculation buttons by gently prying each outward with a small flat blade screwdriver.
- Use a flat blade screwdriver to lift the faceplate tabs over the barbs and rotate the face plate off of the HVAC control assembly.
- Install the HVAC control assembly. Refer to HVAC Control Assembly Replacement .
