Removal Procedure

2006 Chevrolet Cobalt SS, 4D Sedan, StandardSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the HVAC control assembly. Refer to HVAC Control Assembly ReplacementΒ .

  3. Remove the temperature and mode knobs by carefully lifting the edge of the knob with small flat blade screwdriver.
  4. Remove the A/C, rear defog and recirculation buttons by gently prying each outward with a small flat blade screwdriver.

  6. Use a flat blade screwdriver to lift the faceplate tabs over the barbs and rotate the face plate off of the HVAC control assembly.
  7. Install the HVAC control assembly. Refer to HVAC Control Assembly ReplacementΒ .
