2006 Chevrolet Cobalt SS, 4D Sedan, StandardSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the control assembly.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the control assembly bolts.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the control assembly to bracket bolts to 25 N.m (18 ft lbs).

  5. Connect the control assembly electrical connectors.

  7. Install the indicator bulb by inserting and rotating one-quarter turn.

  9. Install the park lock cable onto the control assembly using a new clip.
  10. Connect the park lock cable onto the control assembly pin.
